This Friday, the Morelos Prosecutor’s Office reported that the autopsy performed on the body of Ariadne Fernanda Lopez, who was found dead last Monday on the La Pera-Cuautla highway, near Tepoztlán, points out that her death was due to severe alcohol intoxication and bronchial aspiration; however, these results have been rejected by her relatives, as they state that her death was a femicide.
This was reported by Valeria Rodríguez, the 27-year-old’s niece, who assured in an interview with Azucena Uresti for Radio Formulathat what the Morelos authorities say “is a lie”, since Ariadna’s body had various bruises.
“We are baffled knowing that it is a lie. (I recognized her body) I realize that she was beaten and that she is not like the authorities are saying that it was a bronchial aspiration, ”she indicated.
Due to the results of the Morelos Prosecutor’s Office and the versions that have been revealed in recent days, family and friends have called a press conference, where they will clarify everything that happened with the case of the young woman, who was found lifeless in Tepoztlán after leaving a restaurant located in the Countess, Mayor Cuauhtémoc.
“We are calling a press conference so that everything is clarified for all the media because this is getting out of control with so many things that are happening, we want everyone to know what is really happening and not what people want to make up” , said.
The Prosecutor’s Office does not rule out a line of femicide
Despite the fact that the autopsy of the Morelos Prosecutor’s Office showed that the 27-year-old girl lost her life due to severe alcoholic intoxication and bronchial aspiration, the head of said security instance, Uriel Carmona Gandarastated that they have not ruled out the line of investigation of a possible femicide.
“What is legally signed and added to the investigation folder is that the cause of death is this subject of a very severe degree of alcoholic intoxication and a consecutive bronchial aspiration in this young woman; however, we are doing the investigation by applying the femicide protocol, ”she explained in an interview with Azucena Uresti for Radio Formula.
The prosecutor clarified that “so far what we have scientifically corroborated is that the cause of death was not aggression by a third party; however, that is as far as the investigation goes, but we are not going to rule out the line of femicide.”
